To authorize the Chief Executive Officer to award a purchase order to Cintas for the supply of Uniforms, floor mats, bathroom soaps, in response to a pre-signed contract.

ISSUE/BACKGROUND:

On 11/20/2020, the RTA entered into a 36-month agreement with Cintas to supply uniforms, hand soap, floormats, and paper towels. This was signed as a result of the transition from Transdev to the RTA. Currently, the RTA is in need of creating a PO to go along with the contract.

DISCUSSION:
What is unique about this procurement is we have been receiving products and services from Cintas since the operational transition from Transdev to the RTA but have not yet issued a PO. The RTA entered into an agreement with Cintas, committing the RTA to a 36-month service term. This represents a continuation of services previously provided via the Transdev management contracts.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
Local is available utilizing local funds in the estimated amount of $479,974 over the 36-month contract period.
NEXT STEPS:
Upon RTA Board approval, staff will assign a purchase order.
