Due to limited funding, the ENO Maintenance Building Exterior Repair was eliminated during the bid process in 2018 and only the repair to the Administration Building was offered for public bid. The 68,000 square feet of roof area for the maintenance building has many sources for water intrusion. The metal roof does not require replacement but requires that a coating is applied. Roof flashing will be replaced which is approximately 870 linear feet. The penetrations of the roof will receive new boots. Parapet cap is to be replaced. Lightning protection to be repaired and installed. Two vertical ladders for roof access are to be repaired.

DISCUSSION:
An engineering package which details the scope of work has been completed by CDM Smith Architects Inc. These drawings and specifications were the documents provided to potential bidders by way of the RTA ProcureWare System. The funding available will be sufficient for items designated as base bid that includes roof coating, system flashing, expansion joints, center high bay and roof accessories. Additionally, the scope will include the alternate 1, that includes sheet metal parapet cap replacement and lighting protection per the Engineering Package.
