To authorize the Chief Executive Officer to negotiate and approve a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement between the City of New Orleans and the Regional Transit Authority.

ISSUE/BACKGROUND:

The RTA Board of Commissioners approved resolution 19-044 allow the City of New Orleans Ground Transportation Bureau (GTB) to utilize the office and inspection space at the East New Orleans (ENO) facility.

DISCUSSION:
The original agreement was for a duration of two (2) years. The GTB still needs to utilize the RTA space for a period up to an additional two years. The space utilized will be limited to ENO maintenance building, specifically two offices and six maintenance bays for the inspection of vehicles that require oversight by the GTB.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
This will be cost neutral to the RTA, any operating cost such as IT infrastructure will be paid for by the City of New Orleans.
NEXT STEPS:
Upon Board approval, staff will execute the CEA between the CNO and RTA.
